HES Heat Detection System Overview
Many types of material are exothermic without exposure to an external stimulus. Their internal temperature can increase to the point where they begin to self-combust, therefore it is extremely important to monitor these types of materials to provide an early warning response & alarm to any potentially hazardous situations.
The HES Heat Detection System utilises thermal imaging cameras and programmable control logic to provide this early warning response to any hot spots which are detected. Each camera can be configured with multiple temperature zones to generate fail-safe warning and alarm signals which can be interfaced to multiple devices such as audible alarms, visual indicators, and SMS/email messaging.
When an alarm occurs, the system can be viewed in real time locally via a PC monitor or remotely on a mobile app to provide the precise temperature and location of heat spots, allowing personnel to verify and resolve the problem.
Key features
Early detection of heat build-up that can lead to a fire is critical for a safe working environment, and many insurance companies and local authorities request such systems are in place prior to any safety approval being issued.
The HES Heat Detection System has been designed as a cost effective ‘box ticking’ solution and therefore priced at a fraction of the cost of other competitor systems. It can be easily configured to bespoke customer requirements and quickly installed & commissioned by our engineers.
The HES Heat Detection System can be paired with a water sprinkler system to create a fully automated fire prevention system.
